YOKNAPATAWPHA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

Investigating Officer(s): Det. S. Murphy, Det. T. Armstrong
Case No: 001524-03D-2000
Case Description: Trudi Rose Death Investigation

With Oscar Bulloch's consent, an active tap has been on his home telephone since May 9, 2000. The following incoming call was recorded on Monday, May 29, 2000 at 8:53 a.m. The call lasted 2 minutes and was placed from Good Graces (662-232-XXXX).

OB = Oscar Bulloch
NVM = Natasha Van Moore

OB: Hello?

NVM: Good morning, Oscar. I hope I haven't interrupted your breakfast.

OB: No, not at all, Natasha. What can I do for you?

NVM: I understand you're interested in sponsoring two more students for summer classes. Is that right?

OB: Uh, yes. Yes, that's right.

NVM: Wonderful! Well, we're going to be starting classes next week, and it would really help if we could get that payment in before then.

OB: No problem. I'll stop by one day this week, okay?

NVM: That'd be just great, Oscar. I'll look forward to seeing you sometime between now and Friday then?

OB: Yes. See you later, Natasha.

NVM: Goodbye, Oscar. And thank you.

OB: Goodbye.

[call disconnects]

Follow up actions taken:

The deputy on phone surveillance duty notified detectives about this call because of the reference to Mr. Bulloch spending money and the payment deadline, which appears to coincide with the deadline mentioned in the suspected blackmail call Mr. Bulloch received the previous evening. The detectives decided to delay questioning Ms. Van Moore about this call until the results of the fingerprint analysis on the pay phone used to make the suspected blackmail call come in. Visual surveillance of Oscar Bulloch, monitoring of his home telephone, and tracking of his financial activities will continue throughout the week.
