Madame Raylene called. Says, "Macy is not
dead. Says that what she saw was that "something
is buried that has to do with Macy's
disappearance" but she can't see exactly what it
is. States she is "sure it is something big" but
can't state how big

Nelson.

Madame Raylene called. "Regular
séance" was held. Stated that she has
been unable to get any clearer idea on what is
buried but that she continues to see "something
big" buried. Says she heard the sounds of
breaking glass.

Sunday, 10/26/97, 4:39 p.m.
Mr. and Mrs. W. of Water Valley called from a
payphone at the John W. Kyle State Park Visitors
Center near Sardis, Highway 315, I-55 Exit 252.
They report that while they were hiking in the
Park this afternoon about an hour ago they saw a
girl matching Macy Lamar's description in the
woods with two young men.

Call immediately relayed to dispatch and
Detective Nelson's office.
Follow-up Notation:
The park rangers office at John W. Kyle State
Park was immediately contacted by the Sheriff's
office with the approximate location of the
hikers. State Park police were able to locate
the girl and two men. Turned out to be a false
lead, the hikers were positively identified and
not related to the Macy Lamar case.

10:12 p.m.
Madamee Raylene called, said she is sure she
will be able to see Macy at the séance
Friday night. Says she still sees a grave, but
it could be in the past or in the future. Says
she has reached a "spirit" who has seen Purity
Knight.

Tuesday, 10/28/97, 10:12 p.m.
Mr. Jay T. called. He owns a farm southwest
of Oxford off of Highway 328 reporting deer
spotters on his property. He says he thinks he
saw the truck parked on near an old logging
trail earlier in the day and noticed a woman
near the truck.

Highway patrol was dispatched.
Follow-up Notation:
Two men were arrested for illegal hunting and
trespass on posted private property. The woman
is the wife of one of the men. There is no
apparent connection to any other case.

Friday, 10/31/97 9:12 p.m.
Call received stating that a woman's body was
found in a dumpster behind the Oxford Middle
School.

Dispatch immediately sent out patrolmen.
Determined to be a prank call. A costumed dummy
found with the words, "You have been Tricked by
the Best Fraternity on Campus." Inquiries made
at the University, no suspects identified.
Investigation turned over to University police.

Call received about vandals slashing tires on
"Ed Pierce's Car."

Notified disptach, patrolmen sent on call.
Two juveniles apprehended at a pay phone,
released in the custody of their parents. Det.
Blaisdell of the juvenile division will handle
followup.

Saturday, 11/01/97, 11:23 a.m.
Madam Raylene called. States she is exhausted
after the séances conducted on 10/31/97.
She states she was again contacted by the
unidentified spirit from the séance
concerning Macy. She states that, "this spirit
is warning of a new death by stating repeatedly
"another will arrive". M. Raylene insists,
"There are men involved and moving earth." She
states she does not believe this reference is to
Macy.

No suspicious deaths reported.

Tuesday, 11/4/97, 9:10 a.m.
Duane S., manager of the Horseshoe Club in
Las Vegas called and said his employees found an
auburn wig in a dumpster following the shootout.
Says he is sure it was a disguise for Macy
Lamarr and that she is probably still in Las
Vegas. Wanted information on the reward.

Referred him to the Las Vegas police
department. Notified Det. Nelson who called the
Las Vegas PD. Said the manager of the Horseshoe
is named Peter W. Search of the property
following the incident did not produce the wig
caller is reporting. LVPD will attempt to locate
the caller.

Wednesday, 11/5/97, 11:46 a.m.
John M. of Oxford called. Said he reads the
on line files and thought he should call. He ran
into Sheriff Lamar last night. Said the Sheriff
was acting very strangely. He was intoxicated
and mumbling about the election, Macy, his
girlfriend. Said he thinks the Sheriff knows
something.

Called Det. Nelson, who stated he would
interview the Sheriff again about Macy's
whereabouts.

Friday, 11/7/97, 2:15 p.m.
Madame Raylene made her usual Friday call to
this office. She states she continues to be
troubled over another death, but has nothing new
to offer. She states that she is not interested
in the reward, however, she would like the
Sheriff's Department to make a public statement
regarding those things that she has been right
about in the course of the investigation.

Sunday, 11/9/97, 12:11 p.m.
Mr. Paul J. of Pea Ridge Road called to
report after reading in the Sunday Eagle of
Sheriff Lamar's accident, that at aprroximately
9:30 pm last evening an unidentified vehicle was
driving recklessly at high speeds down Pea Ridge
Road and on the curve at approx. 3.5 miles from
Route 7 lost control and left the road
sideswiping Mr. J's mailbox. Mr. J. states that
he heard the impact and the screech of tires,
but was unable to get to the window in time to
see the vehicle. States that his mailbox was set
on a steel pole painted white with night vision
strips on the pole. The mailbox was uprooted and
found approx. 8 feet down the road.

Follow-up Notation:
Detectives and crime lab dispatched to the
location. Mailbox and pole recovered by crime
lab for testing. Location is approx. 5 miles
from the accident site. Ongoing investigation.
