Caller, Madam Raylene, psychic from Randolph, MS states she had another vision in which she sees a New York Italian restaurant and hears coins dropping into a metal container. Says she is sure that Macy Lamar is dead and burried near a magnolia tree in a box.

Call referred to Detective Nelson, Sheriff's office.Followup notation from previous calls:Detective Nelson contacted the Pontotoc Co. Sheriff's office regarding this caller, she is a known psychic, frequent caller, has occasionally been very close to facts with her information.

Tuesday, 10/7/97 10:30 a.m.

Mrs. R of Oxford called and said she just reported information after her return from her sister's home in Charleston. Says she saw the two escapees and the Symons woman in a brown car in Charleston on 9/29/97.Wants to know when to expect a check for the reward.

Explained to caller that her information has not proved to be helpful to the investigation as there is no other corroborating evidence that the suspects were in Charleston and that to receive the reward, the information has to lead to the safe return of Macy Lamar. Caller is very upset and says the reward is "phony" but wants to remain in "contention."

Tuesday, 10/7/97 2:10 p.m.

Mr. R. of Oxford called stating that we have upset his wife. Wants to know when to expect a check for the reward money.

Explained that the reward is for information leading the safe return of Macy Lamar, which has not occurred and that there is no other information that the suspects or Macy Lamar were in Charleston.

Wednesday, 10/8/97 8:11 am

Mr. D. of San Antonio, TX, states that he definitely saw the suspects in a mall in San Antonio. Has no idea what vehicle they are driving but states that Pierce, Symons, Phelps and Macy Lamar were in Baskin-Robbins buying ice cream last night at about 8:00 pm.

Advised caller that Phelps is dead, but that I will pass on the information. Call referred to Detective Nelson for followup.Followup notation:Det. Nelson said he contacted caller and information was not related to this case.

Friday, 10/10/97, 2:04 p.m.

Madame Raylene made her regular Friday call to this office. Says she held a séance last night and saw Sheriff Lamar in a meeting with four men. Says Sheriff Lamar is not to be trusted. Says there was money involved in the meeting.

Call information referred to Detective Nelson, Sheriff's office.Follow-up Notation:Det. Nelson called Sheriff Lamar and inquired about this caller's information. Sheriff Lamar states he was in a poker game three nights ago with four men. Sheriff Lamar says this woman is "wacko."
