Mme. Raylene called. Wanted to know Macy's condition. Says she solved the case, but does not want a reward. She wants the Sheriff's office to make a public statement that her help was crucial or essential to solving this case. Says she would like to meet Caroline and Macy.
Information called in to Det. Nelson's office.Det. Nelson called back and said he will call Mme. Raylene personally to handle this. Says there will likely be no public statement.

Jason T. called and said he wants to claim the reward for spotting Macy in the Jackson, MS, area last week.

Mme. Raylene called. Said it was her information all through the case that led to finding Macy alive. Went over everything, item by item, gold buttons, cotton fields, Las Vegas coins, California oranges, Magnolia, MS, earth, greed, etc. Said she contacted Chuck Lamar and he is happy that Macy was found alive. Call took 1-1/2 hours. She is very angry with Det. Nelson.
Information and veiled threat called in to Det. Nelson at the Sheriff's office.

Mrs. Jean L. of Shelbyville called. It was her daughter that spotted Macy at the grocery store in Shelbyville. Claiming reward in her daughter's name. Says will be used as scholarship money.

Dave Y., the Shelbyville grocery clerk called. Said if he is in line for a reward to tell Ms. Blanchard to keep the money to help Macy get over what happened to her. Nice guy.

Agent Hillman called to thank all of us for manning the line and getting the tips to her so quickly. Says we really helped the case.

Caroline Blanchard called to thank all of us for helping to find Macy. The lady was crying and said without us, Macy might not have been found in time. Said to forward all reward calls to her attorney who will handle it for the estate of Chuck Lamar.
