DESCRIPTION:

At 3:07 p.m., Dispatch notified R/Is that Unit #305 (Deputy P. J. Watson) had responded to a vandalism/well-being check call at a residence on Shady Oaks Circle. Deputy Watson, the R/O, reported to Dispatch that the incident may be connected to Incident # 002821-15G-2000, the Wendy Holloway #00-112 homicide. R/O indicated photographs observed inside the residence depicted a woman who appeared to resemble Wendy Holloway #00-112.

FINDINGS:

After radio communication with R/O, R/Is established probable cause of the photographs and the apparent vandalism at the location to obtain a search warrant for the residence to locate materials that would confirm or disprove the possible identification. R/Is submitted a search warrant application to Judge Harold McAfee. The search warrant was issued at 4:30 p.m. and R/Is proceeded to the scene on Shady Oaks Circle.

R/Is arrived at the scene at 4:43 p.m. and conferred with R/O, who had remained at the location to seal the scene and maintain its integrity. R/Is executed the search warrant at 4:45 p.m. Documents and other materials taken into evidence to assist with identification of the tenant are listed in the attached search inventory.

While executing the warrant, R/Is observed the interior of the residence which appeared to have been vandalized. Broken glass was noted in several locations and various liquids appear to have been distributed on walls, floors, and other surfaces. Small appliances and other items appear to have been damaged.

When execution of the search warrant was complete, R/Is sealed the scene and marked it with crime scene tape.

Items taken into evidence were removed from the scene in the custody of R/Is.
