Letter: Medical Records Subpoenae

The following letter was received in response to subpoenas issued to medical providers for Crystal Taylor's medical records in the investigation into possible abuse indicated in her diary.

Dear Detective Nelson:

I received the subpoenae for Crystal Taylor's medical records, delivered by your process server on March 10, 1998. Miss Taylor was a patient under Dr. Alisa Woesh's care, and we will comply with the subpoena on or before the 10-day deadline of March 20. The records will be delivered to your office by one of our staff. Because it is an official request for an ongoing police investigation, we will, as a public service, waive charging our usual copying fees.

A detailed list of other medical care providers known to be serving Miss Taylor is included in her files; however, as you requested, following is an advance summary of other physicians, clinics and health care providers that we know she was using:
