REPORTING OFFICER'S NARRATIVE
(Brief narrative of the facts surrounding the offense
and the arrest.)
At 2:10 PM, Reporting Officers (R/Os)
were conducting routine foot patrol when they observed arrestee
loitering in front of the Cinema 4 in the Oxford
Mall. Upon approaching arrestee, R/Os detected a strong
odor of marihuana. Arrestee consented to a search of his
person. During said search, Officer Albrecht recovered a baggie
containing approximately 1 ounce of a dried green vegetable
substance. R/Os then took arrestee into custody and
escorted arrestee to their vehicle.
Arrestee was handcuffed, informed of his rights, and transported
to YCSD.
Transportation to the Sheriff's Department
proceeded without incident. At 2:31 PM, R/Os turned
the arrestee over to Sheriff's Department personnel for
processing.
At all times while in custody, arrestee
appeared coherent but unconcerned. Although uncommunicative,
arrestee was cooperative.

DEFENDANT'S VERSION/REMARKS
(What did the defendant say about the offense or his/her whereabouts
at the time of offense?)
Arrestee asked why he was being arrested
and then exclaimed "Oh wow. Major bummer." Otherwise,
arrestee remained silent during transportation to the station
and during processing. Arrestee refused to answer any questions
until an attorney was present. However, arrestee did cooperate
physically and did not resist in any way.
