Saturday, 12/6/97, 3:20 p.m.

Mr. George F. called from Bay Minette, AL. Said he saw the suspect car parked in a rest area out on the highway between Mobile and Bay Minette at around noon today. Said it was parked in the picnic area. Two men, jeans and black t-shirts. No sing of Macy or a female. Didn't remember till he got home and saw TV ad.

Notified Detective Nelson by cellphone.Notified Agent Hillman's secretary as she was unavailable by cellphone. Agent Hillman returned call and said to fax required info to area agencies. Faxed info.

Sunday, 12/7/97, 8:26 p.m.

Mme. Raylene called about the Shelbyville search. Wouldn't say how she knew about it. Wanted to know if anything gold was found. Wanted to know if the fields around the farmhouse were cotton fields. Told her I was not aware of any search or what might have been found in such a search.

Called Detective Nelson at home and told him. He says not to release any information to anyone except him, Sheriff Sheldon, Agent Hillman and my supervisor.Wrote up notice for other shifts.

Monday, 12/8/97, 3:25 p.m.

Ms. Mary H. called from Lakeside Inn, Enid Dam Road. Hostess at Inn, has record of C. Lamar reservations including one made on evening of November 8 she thinks only an hour or two before the fatal vehicle accident.

Detective Nelson notified immediately.Follow-up notation: Detective Nelson will be interviewing this caller.

Monday, 12/8/97, 10:26 p.m.

Ms. Judy J. of Ocean Springs, MS, called. Said she was a in the bathroom at a gas station in Ocean Springs and a woman came in that fit Macy's description. She didn't see what car the woman arrived or left in, but is sure it was Macy. Girl was wearing a brown pantsuit with a white shirt.

Called Detective Nelson at home.Notified Agent Hillman. Faxed info and newest pictures to Ocean Springs.

Thursday, 12/11/97, 2:54 p.m.

Mme. Raylene called in. Wanted to know who to call to make arrangements for tomorrow night. Said she was very uncomfortable last time and wants a better chair. Very argumentative tonight. Gave her the numbers for Elizabeth Jones at the Sheriff's office and for Mickey Nelson at City Hall.

Notified Jones and Nelson that Mme. Raylene would be calling one of them.No further action taken.

Friday, 12/12/97, 8:14 am

Mme. Raylene called. Wanted to know if her room is ready. Said during her séance last night, she was able to reach Lamar and Shippenham and is sure she will be able to reach them again tonight. "Lamar is worried about the girl." "Shippenham is still in the fire….." I have no idea how to translate all this for the log, but that's what she said.

Information referred to Detective Nelson's office.
