Likely in possession of a light blue short sleeved Yoknapatawpha County Sheriff's Deputy shirt with the insignia of the Yoknapatawpha County Sheriff's Department, emblem patch on right front pocket and left arm sleeve taken from scene.
 
WEAPON: Subject believed to be in possession of Sheriff's department .357 magnum handgun removed from the scene.
 
LAST SEEN: 3:35 pm Saturday, September 20, 1997 Oxford, MS escaping scene of accident of Yoknapatawpha County Sheriff's van Jackson Avenue West, Oxford, MS. Accident occurred in transport from the Yoknapatawpha County Detention Center, Jackson Avenue to the Metro Narcotics Offices jail facility on North Lamar Avenue, Oxford. Escaped in conjunction with fugitive Edward Arthur Pierce, see Fugitive Alert Bulletin # W-12797.
