YOKNAPATAWPHA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT Investigating Officer(s): Det. S. Murphy. Det. T. Armstrong Yoknapatawpha County Court SEARCH WARRANT
To Detective Sam Murphy and any Authorized Officer of Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi. Affidavit(s) having been made before me by Detective Sam Murphy who has reason to believe that on the premises known as 2162 South Lamar, Oxford, MS which is a free-standing, one-story home with garage and 0.2 acres of yard and garden, shown by public record as leased to and occupied by Dale King; in Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi, there is now concealed a person or property, namely rhubarb plant material (Rheum rhaponticum) or rhubarb-based foodstuffs consistent with the Coroner's description of rhubarb as the primary source of oxalate in the victim's blood and urine; cookbooks or recipe books containing information about rhubarb; printed materials regarding plant toxicology; correspondence from Andrea Stover; an overcoat with silver buttons; an antique locket with a black stone on a silver chain and as I am satisfied that there is probable cause to believe that the person or property so described is now concealed on the person or premises above described and that grounds for application for issuance of the search warrant exist as stated in the supporting affidavit(s). YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to search on or before March 13, 2002 (not to exceed 10 days) the person or property specified, serving this warrant and making the search in the daytime (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.).
