Biography: Charles "Chuckie" King, film's executive producer

Charles King was born December 5, 1956. To friends and family, he's always been just "Chuckie." The third youngest son of prominent Oxford citizens Montgomery and Eupora King, Chuckie had eight brothers -- Midas, Jerusalem, Abra, Barron, Joseph, William, Fetch and Coobie -- and one adopted sister, Bolivia. The King children grew up in a lavish antebellum home on what is today the largest plot of unspoiled wilderness near the center of town.

Chuckie graduated from Oxford High School in 1975 and flew directly to Los Angeles, California to become an actor. After several hard-fought years, King enrolled in medical school at Suntech College in Barstow, California. He was a dentist for a short time before going back to school and studying plastic surgery.

King returned to Oxford in 1985 and opened a cosmetic surgery office in 1988. He is usually found at the Downtown Grill and Holiday Inn bar, where he often entertains crowds as a pianist.

Until 1996, King had enjoyed a thriving practice in Oxford, and then he was convicted of statutory rape. Records show that he served no time, and the town is so muddled with rumor that only passersby and newcomers to town will have surgery done with Dr. King.

According to select friends, King, who was a regular at casinos on the Gulf Coast and in the Mediterranean, invested in Bacchanals' Destruction with the hopes of scoring one last jackpot in order to retain his full estate.

According to the best available information, King has had no social association with John Grisham.
