Hair Analysis

Investigators found hair matching Greg Giblini's at the Miami crime scene.

A careful vacuuming and microscopic inspection of the bathroom revealed three strands of hair. Within hours, the Miami-Dade Crime Lab reported a match with hair samples from the Mississippi crime scene. These samples were part of a biological profile made available to the Miami investigation team.

The Oxford, Mississippi crime scene yielded substantial material for creation of a precise biological profile for the suspect, Greg Giblini. Source material was gathered from the bedroom, bathroom and furniture. The biological profile includes: DNA profile , hair profile, fingerprints and fiber descriptions.

The accompanying magnified hair sample is from the biological profile. Due to legal restrictions, the Miami samples are unavailable.
