Giblini, age 20, is a life-long resident of Nashville, Tennessee. He is the youngest of three children. His brothers Tom and Bill, run a small electronics firm in California. Giblini's father works with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. His mother teaches high school Computer Science.
According to his parents, Giblini met the victim, Valerie Vilson, while attending the University of Mississippi during the 1993-94 school year.
Giblini studied theatre at the university . He played a leading role in "A Few Good Men." Theatre professor, Scott McCoy , described Giblini as "Quiet." As a hobby, Giblini made short films. Apparently this is how he met the victim.
In December, 1994, Giblini left the university for financial reasons. He currently works as a production assistant on the many film crews passing through Nashville. His location is unknown at this time. His family believed that he was working on a production assignment, but could not be certain.
A search of Giblini's apartment turned up little information. However, his extensive video collection contained many short films featuring the victim.
Greg Giblini is wanted for questioning in the murder of Valerie Vilson.
